Rememberance notice

It is with great sadness that we have to announce the passing away of WG Carr (better known as Bob Carr) suddenly on Monday, April 30th aged 76 years to Cancer. Bob was a founding member of the Nomads back in 1957 and played regularly until the late 1970s/early 1980s. In his time he captained the 2nd, 3rd and 4th XIs as well as being Fixture Secretary for many years.

Funeral service and committal 1.30pm at Cambridge City Crematorium, West Chapel, on Tuesday, May 15th. Family flowers only. Donations if desired, should be made payable to Macmillan Nurses and may be sent to Richard Stebbings Funeral Services Ltd, Kendal House, Cambridge Road, Impington, Cambridge CB4 9NU.
